  1. How Data Is Collected

Data is collected directly from you when you fill in forms, book sessions, make payments, or contact us. Additional information is collected automatically through cookies, analytics, and server logs. Third-party services such as Cal.com and Stripe process booking and payment information. During sessions, notes or recordings may be created for professional use. Voluntary data may also be provided through feedback or newsletter opt-ins.

  1. Purpose of Processing

Personal data is processed to:

  • schedule and conduct coaching sessions, workshops, or retreats;

  • communicate and send essential booking information;

  • process payments and maintain accounting records;

  • comply with Dutch tax and legal obligations;

  • analyze anonymous usage data to improve content and user experience;

  • maintain service quality and continuity through limited session notes or recordings;

  • send newsletters or resources with consent (users may unsubscribe at any time); and

  • ensure security and prevent fraud or unauthorized access.

  1. Legal Bases for Processing

Processing is based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Contract performance — to deliver the services you have requested or purchased;

  • Consent — for marketing emails, testimonials, or session recordings;

  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax or accounting requirements;

  • Legitimate interests — to improve services, ensure security, and prevent misuse.

  1. Data Sharing / Third-Party Processors

Personal data may be processed by trusted third-party providers that assist in delivering services: Cal.com (scheduling), Stripe (payment processing), Framer (website hosting), email providers (communications), and analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible. These processors are contractually required to protect data and comply with GDPR standards. Seven Life Areas does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

  1. Data Retention & Security

Payment and accounting data are retained for up to seven (7) years as required by Dutch law. Session notes and recordings are kept only as long as needed for quality, continuity, or legal protection. Marketing data is deleted upon unsubscribe or withdrawal of consent. All communications use SSL (HTTPS) encryption; session data is stored in password-protected, encrypted systems with limited access. Storage systems are reviewed regularly and unnecessary data is deleted.

  1. User Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; restrict or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent for marketing or recordings at any time. Requests should be sent to contact@sevenlifeareas.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Services are intended for adults aged 18 and above. Seven Life Areas does not knowingly collect data from minors. If a child’s information has been provided, please contact contact@sevenlifeareas.com so it can be deleted promptly.

  1. International Data Transfers & Complaints

Some third-party processors may store or process data outside the EU. These providers use approved Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to ensure GDPR-level protection. Questions or complaints regarding international data handling may be directed to contact@sevenlifeareas.com.
