Introduction and scope

This policy explains what personal data Seven Life Areas collects, why, who helps us process it, and what you can ask of us. It covers sevenlifeareas.com and our services, and works together with our Terms & Conditions. The latest version is always on this page.

Who is responsible

Applicable law: the Netherlands and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Questions or data requests can be sent to the email above.

What we collect

Identity and contact. Name, email address, phone number (if provided), country or time zone, and preferred name or pronouns (if you share them).

Booking and payment. Session type, date and time booked through Cal.com; payment confirmation from Stripe; a cryptocurrency wallet address (if used for payment); billing address and invoice details required for tax. Credit-card numbers are never stored by us.

Coaching. Your pre-session form answers, the reflections we send you after a session, and recordings only when you ask for one. We don’t keep notes of what’s said in a session.

Technical. IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, timestamps and referrers, gathered through Framer’s analytics and Metricool. If we switch on Google Analytics, it collects this too, with cookies.

Communication and marketing. Emails sent to or from our addresses, newsletter subscriptions, preferences, testimonials, and feedback forms.

How we collect it

Data is collected directly from you when you fill in forms, book sessions, make payments, or contact us. Some is collected automatically through analytics and server logs. Cal.com and Stripe process booking and payment information. Recordings are made only when you ask for one. You may also share data through feedback or newsletter signups.

Why we use it

• to schedule and run coaching sessions, workshops, or retreats;

• to send you essential booking information;

• to process payments and keep accounting records;

• to meet Dutch tax and legal obligations;

• to understand site visits and improve content;

• to send newsletters or resources with your consent (you can unsubscribe at any time);

• to keep the site and our tools secure and prevent misuse.

Legal bases

• Contract: to deliver the services you requested or bought;

• Consent: for marketing emails, testimonials, or session recordings;

• Legal obligation: to meet tax and accounting requirements;

• Legitimate interests: to improve our services, keep things secure, and prevent misuse.

Who helps us

• Website and analytics: Framer hosts the site, and Framer and Metricool count visits without cookies. We may also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies. The site’s fonts load from Google Fonts.

• Google Workspace: Gmail for email, Google Calendar and Meet for sessions, and Google Drive, Forms and Sheets for pre-session forms and booking records.

• Kit: sends our emails and newsletter.

• Bookings and payments: Cal.com handles bookings. Stripe handles payments.

• Coaching admin: Make connects Cal.com, Google Workspace and Notion, so a booking sets up your sessions and your client record. Notion keeps the overview of each coaching journey.

• Products and video: Creator OS is delivered as a Notion template. The video on the Creator OS page comes from YouTube.

We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information.

The Map of Life

Your answers stay in your browser. When you enter your email to see your full map, your email and your map scores go to Kit, which sends you your map, emails that fit it, and the 1-1-1 Wednesday newsletter. You can unsubscribe anytime.

The Roadmap

When you buy the Roadmap, Stripe processes the payment and gives us your email and order reference, which we keep to help you if you lose access.

Health information

Coaching can touch on health: an injury, a condition, how you sleep. We use what you share only to work with you. Your pre-session form answers stay in your private client folder, and we don’t keep notes of what’s said in a session.

How long we keep it

• Payment and accounting records: 7 years, as Dutch tax law requires.

• Coaching records and form answers: while we work together, and afterward in case you come back. Ask us anytime and we delete them.

• Newsletter and Map of Life data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

The site runs over HTTPS, and our tools are protected with passwords and limited access.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; restrict or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent for marketing or recordings at any time. Send requests to contact@sevenlifeareas.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children

Our services are for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If a child’s information has been shared with us, contact contact@sevenlifeareas.com and we’ll delete it promptly.

Data outside the EU

Some of these services (Kit, Cal.com, Notion and Google) are based in the US. They use the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses to protect data from the EU. Questions or complaints can go to contact@sevenlifeareas.com.

Automated scoring

The Map of Life scores your answers automatically to draw your map. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is ever made about you automatically.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no tracking cookies now. If we switch on Google Analytics, it will set cookies to recognize returning visitors. The site saves a few things in your browser so it works the way you expect: your Map of Life progress and results, your Roadmap access, and whether you closed the newsletter pop-up. They stay on your device, and clearing your browser data removes them. YouTube may set its own cookies when you watch the video on the Creator OS page.

Data breaches

If a breach puts your data at risk, we report it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority within 72 hours, and tell you directly without delay when the risk to you is high.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to outside products or services. Clicking them may let those companies collect limited technical or referral data. External websites have their own privacy policies.

If the business changes hands

If ownership or structure of Seven Life Areas changes through a merger, acquisition, or sale, personal data may transfer to the new owner under the same privacy commitments. We’ll tell you if such a change materially affects how your data is handled.
